Nemesis Coffee
Creative Direction + Graphic Design

About the project
My partnership with Nemesis Coffee was a deeply creative season—an 18-month collaboration as their fractional Creative Director and design team, helping shape the brand’s visual and strategic direction through a period of growth and evolution. From refining the day-to-day creative strategy to launching their new brunch program, every project carried the same heartbeat: crafting experiences that felt as intentional and artful as the coffee they serve.
As Nemesis expanded beyond their iconic Gastown café to new locations at Lonsdale Quay and beside the Emily Carr Institute, I worked closely with their leadership to develop campaigns, visuals, and storytelling that translated the brand’s culture into these new environments. The goal was never to reinvent, but to evolve—to carry the essence of Nemesis into new spaces with design that felt modern, grounded, and alive.
It was a collaboration built on trust, experimentation, and shared creative rhythm—a process that blurred the line between art direction and brand identity, and ultimately helped shape how Nemesis continues to express who they are and what they stand for.
